Philagro

Philagro is a French company active in crop protection. It was created in 1993 by Sumitomo Chemical Company and Nissan Chemical Industries. It designs, develops and markets solutions compatible with the economic and environmental needs of society. The company has a biological evaluation center (CEB) near Orléans and is certified Certiphyto for distribution of plant protection products.

Philagro was created in 1993 by Sumitomo Chemical Company and Nissan Chemical Industries. In 1997, the Biological Evaluation Center (CEB) in Baccon near Orléans was created. In 2006, Nihon Nohyaku Company (NNC) became the third shareholder. In 2013, Philagro celebrated its 20th anniversary and was certified Certiphyto for distribution of plant protection products. In 2015, a new laboratory was inaugurated at the CEB, and Philagro expanded its headquarters. In 2019, Philagro and Sumitomo Chemical ASDE presented Pavecto, a new fungicide active substance.
