Premier Pepero packaging ruling
The Seoul District Court found that the box design of Premier Pepero copied elements of Glico's Baton d'or packaging. The ruling was expected to lead to sales restrictions and disposal of existing stock.
Pocky similarity criticism
Pepero has been criticized for resembling Ezaki Glico's Pocky, which predates it and uses a comparable thin biscuit-stick format with a confectionery coating. Lotte denied that Pepero was inspired by Pocky.
