Suspension of two Riga establishments
The Food and Veterinary Service suspended two Pakistānas kebab establishments in Riga for serious hygiene violations. Both later resumed operations with permission from the regulator.
2016
Hygiene closure and cameraman assault
A Merķeļa Street branch was temporarily closed for hygiene violations. During the inspection, owner Ali Sadiq Farman assaulted a TV3 cameraman and damaged the camera, leading to the initiation of a criminal case. The branch reopened after corrective measures and regulatory authorization.
