Viatris acquires Pacira BioSciences for $1.65 billion
Viatris Inc. has acquired Pacira BioSciences, Inc.'s outstanding common stock shares for $36.50 per share in cash, in a $1.65 billion transaction. Law firm Ashurst Perkins Coie, which served as main counsel throughout the transaction process, advised Pacira. Viatris plans to extend product lifecycles, sustain meaningful sales, and expand the Pacira products' reach across select markets within its global infrastructure.
