Disputes with Wackenhut airport security personnel
Pacific Wings accused Wackenhut personnel of harassment after confrontations at Kahului Airport. Air Nevada Cessna 402 crash
A Cessna 402C operated by the then-Air Nevada crashed after takeoff from Las Vegas on a flight intended for Grand Canyon National Park Airport. The pilot and two passengers died. The NTSB attributed the accident primarily to inadequate airspeed maintenance during the return-to-airport maneuver, with an unsecured baggage-compartment door as an additional factor.
