    Oxfam sexual-abuse scandal

Reports about sexual exploitation and abuse involving Oxfam personnel, especially in Haiti and Chad, led to major scrutiny of the charity’s safeguarding, management and accountability. The controversy affected public confidence and placed pressure on Oxfam GB’s fundraising and shop network. It was a wider Oxfam scandal rather than an allegation specifically concerning Oxfam bookshops.
