Loss of Orient Queen in the Beirut port explosion
Orient Queen was moored in Beirut when the 4 August ammonium nitrate explosion occurred. Two Filipino crew members were killed, several people were injured, and the ship was rendered a total loss after capsizing and partially sinking.
