Octapharma Plasma cybersecurity and data-exfiltration incident
In April 2024, Octapharma Plasma temporarily halted operations at its US plasma-donation centers after detecting unauthorized network activity consistent with a cyberattack. Publicly described information associated the incident with BlackSuit ransomware and indicated that files containing personal information were accessed and exfiltrated. The company notified the FBI and the California attorney general.
