ONE Apus container-loss incident
During severe weather on a voyage from Yantian, China, to Long Beach, United States, ONE Apus lost an estimated 1,816 containers overboard. The lost units reportedly included 64 containers containing dangerous goods. The vessel reached Kobe, Japan, where extensive work to remove collapsed containers continued for approximately three months.
