Ziyoujia NV undeliverable after launch as refunds stall
Niuchuang New Energy (Ziyoujia), founded by Li Yinan, launched the NV model in 2021 and claimed to have received many orders, but it could not mass-produce the vehicle due to qualification and debt problems at contract manufacturer Dacheng Automobile. In December 2022 it announced it would stop the project and process refunds of intent deposits for users; employees were laid off in batches, and the project was described as having “zero deliveries.” Project terminated; refunds.
