Sexism controversy involving the Archdruid
After Catrin Dafydd received the Crown at the Cardiff festival, Archdruid Geraint Llifon made comments interpreted as suggesting that she could not have won without male assistance. The remarks prompted strong criticism, including from feminists, and Llifon later apologised.
