NRA-funded political newspaper wrapper
On the eve of the 2008 U.S. presidential election, copies of several Booth newspapers were delivered inside a white wrapper paid for by the National Rifle Association and displaying an anti-Barack Obama message. The affected newspapers had endorsed Obama. The Flint Journal posted an apology and said that the wrapper had been inserted incorrectly because of a communication problem involving newspaper delivery.
