merz+benteli ag is a Swiss company that develops, produces and sells high-quality sealants and adhesives based on silane-modified polymers. The company offers products for construction and industrial applications, including fire protection sealants. It also provides private label products under the brands Gomastit, Merbenit, and Cementit.

The company was founded in 1918 by chemists Walter Merz and Dr. Albert Benteli, who initially developed an adhesive for applying luminous material to watch hands and dials. In 1930, the company launched Cementit, a waterproof synthetic universal adhesive, which quickly became a synonym for the brand.
