Canada Soccer Business rights and payment dispute
Canadian Soccer Business withdrew media and broadcast rights from Mediapro and initiated legal action over alleged missed payments and insufficient television sublicensing reach. Mediapro disputed the allegations and raised counterclaims concerning CSB’s obligations. The dispute was later settled.

French football-rights payment dispute
Mediapro missed two rights payments during the first season of its French Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 contract and sought renegotiation, citing the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact. The company and the LFP agreed to terminate the contract in December 2020.
