Trichloroethylene contamination at the Calhoun County site

McGraw-Edison used oil waste contaminated with trichloroethylene for dust control on roads at a Michigan manufacturing site between 1970 and 1980. Contamination was subsequently detected in nearby residential and municipal wells, leading to a state cleanup agreement and a 1984 consent decree covering soil and groundwater remediation.
