Planned voluntary recall of certain Maxi-Cosi Pria 85 car seats announced
Dorel Juvenile Group said it was preparing to recall certain Maxi-Cosi Pria 85 and Pria 85 Max car seats, while cooperating with NHTSA on the recall scope and consumer remedy. The seats may not adequately protect a child from head injury in a crash if installed forward-facing with a lap belt without the top tether. The company reported no related injuries or incidents.

Maxi-Cosi introduced the PureCosi car-seat fabric line
Dorel Juvenile announced the launch of PureCosi, a new car-seat fabric line for Maxi-Cosi that meets flammability standards without added fire-retardant chemicals. The fabric was available for five Maxi-Cosi car seats at the time of the announcement.
