Maribo Bryghus

Maribo Bryghus was a brewery in the town of Maribo on the Danish island of Lolland. The business began in 1895, when Christian Jørgensen founded it under the name Thor Brewery, or Thor Bryggeri. The original name was changed about a decade later because it could be confused with the separate Thor Brewery in Randers. The new Maribo identity tied the brewery more directly to its local home and became associated with a range of beers sold in Denmark.
