Ma Yuxing Wins Retrial Ruling Ordering 'Ma Yixing' Tongzi Chicken Shop to Stop Infringement and Pay Damages

On July 18, 2005, Kaifeng Food General Company Ma Yuxing Meat and Poultry Company sued a Zhengzhou shop that had used the sign 'Kaifeng Authentic Ma Yixing Tongzi Chicken Shop' since 2004 and marked 'Kaifeng Authentic Time-Honored Brand, Third Year of Xianfeng' for infringing its exclusive right to use a registered trademark; the Zhengzhou Intermediate People's Court accepted the case.
