Overview
Linical is a global CRO that provides a full spectrum of drug development services from early stage to large-scale, multinational studies. It is publicly traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and has been operating for nearly 20 years in more than 30 countries. Founded in Japan in 2005, Linical has expanded globally.
History
Linical was established in June 2005 in Osaka, Japan by a group of entrepreneurs at a major Japanese pharmaceutical company. It opened a second office in Tokyo in 2006, and established Linical USA in 2008 as its first subsidiary. Linical was listed on the Mothers section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2008, and later changed to the First Section in 2013. In 2013, Linical established Linical Taiwan and Linical Korea. In 2014, it expanded Asian and European operations, with Linical Korea merging with P-Pro Korea Co., LTD, and Linical Europe formed through the acquisition of Nuvisan CDD Holding GmbH. In 2015, Linical established Linical Singapore and Linical UK. In 2016, Linical Poland was formed, and in 2017, Linical Czech Republic was established. In 2018, Linical acquired Accelovance, Inc.
