European LCD cartel penalty
The European Commission fined LG Display €215 million for its participation in an LCD price-fixing scheme. Other panel manufacturers were also penalized in the same enforcement action.

US TFT-LCD price-fixing conspiracy
LG Display, then operating as LG.Philips LCD, admitted participation in a multiyear conspiracy involving prices for TFT-LCD panels sold worldwide. The US case resulted in a guilty plea and a cited criminal fine of $400 million for LG Display.
