Flights investigated over suspected irregular migration and human trafficking
Legend Airlines flights in July and December 2023 were examined by authorities after concerns that some passengers were using charter services to facilitate unauthorized migration toward the United States. In December, French police grounded an aircraft carrying 303 passengers, including 13 unaccompanied minors. The aircraft was released after two days; 25 passengers remained in France to seek asylum. The available material reports allegations and investigations, not a final finding that Legend Airlines itself committed human trafficking.
