Jaffna restaurant fined Rs. 950,000 for selling bottled water above MRP
The Jaffna Magistrate's Court imposed a fine of Rs. 950,000 on Lavin's Vegetable Family Restaurant in Jaffna for selling a 1-litre bottled drinking water at Rs. 200 against the stipulated Maximum Retail Price of Rs. 120, following a raid by Consumer Affairs Authority investigation officers.
