Anchorwoman credibility controversy
KYTX's participation in Anchorwoman drew criticism from rival news executives and others who argued that turning a local newsroom into reality television could compromise the station's journalistic credibility and create an unfavorable portrayal of East Texas. The program was canceled after its premiere.
