American metal band Demon Hunter sued Netflix and AEG Presents for trademark infringement related to the animated film KPop Demon Hunters.
Demon Hunter have reportedly argued that the film’s music and related live performances have created consumer confusion over the connection between KPop Demon Hunters and the band.
The suit seeks to have the judge rule to prevent the use of the aforementioned by “directing the U.S. Marshal to seize and impound” anything with those words on it. It also seeks damages and attorneys’ fees.
