Controversy over conditional free photo storage
Kodak Gallery received negative attention for a policy under which users had to make qualifying purchases to retain photographs in free storage. Accounts that failed to meet the requirements could have images deleted. Complaints also came from some connected digital-picture-frame customers, while a former executive alleged she was wrongfully dismissed after objecting to a proposed image-quality reduction intended to reduce storage costs.
