SICC shareholder and foreign-ownership disputes
Fouce-related shareholders sued Spanish International Communications Corporation and associated parties, alleging self-dealing, mismanagement, waste, and breach of fiduciary duty. A separate regulatory challenge questioned whether Mexican influence in the ownership structure violated United States broadcast restrictions. The disputes ultimately contributed to the forced sale and restructuring of the stations.
