A. J. Clemente first-broadcast incident
During his first broadcast as a weekend co-anchor, A. J. Clemente unintentionally uttered profanity and mispronounced the name of London Marathon winner Tsegaye Kebede. KFYR suspended him after the broadcast and dismissed him the following day. The incident was discussed by national entertainment and news programs and became one of the station's most widely reported personnel controversies.
