Disco Dolls in Hot Skin obscenity dispute
Authorities confiscated an X-rated film scheduled at the theater and charged manager Fred Mills with distributing obscene material. The film was returned, Mills’s charges were dismissed at arraignment, and the city council voted against conducting a review. The theater later placed a First Amendment defense message on its marquee.
