Broadcast of the Sugartime! episode of Postcards from Buster

KCTS was among the PBS member stations that aired the Postcards from Buster episode Sugartime! after it was removed from the national schedule following criticism from U.S. Education Secretary Margaret Spellings. The controversy centered on the episode's depiction of a Vermont family headed by two women. The producing station made the episode available for individual station broadcasts.
