Market-manipulation and governance concerns
Around the creation of the SECP and the beginning of the 2000s, KSE faced reported concerns involving manipulation, weak margin requirements, broker dominance, diversion of funds, predatory lending, share cornering, poor disclosure, and weak corporate governance.
