Irish malware and spoofing case
A malware incident led to spoofing that falsely enrolled customers' telephone numbers in premium-rate services between August 2021 and January 2022. In February 2023, Kaleyra pleaded guilty to 22 charges involving breaches of Ireland's Communications Regulation Act and subsequently withdrew from the Irish market.
