Aryanization and forced labor during the Nazi period
The industrial plant was confiscated and Aryanized after Austria's annexation by Nazi Germany. During the Second World War it became a major armaments site and used large numbers of forced laborers, including workers held in a women's camp associated with the factory. These events concern the historical industrial predecessor of the modern Jenbacher business.
