Boston Big Dig concrete investigation
Massachusetts authorities searched Aggregate Industries offices during an investigation into concrete supplied for underground sections of Boston’s Central Artery/Tunnel project. The investigation involved allegations that some materials failed to meet contractual specifications, followed by employee arrests, civil claims and a settlement in 2007.
