Commercial Defamation Lawsuit with TCL over Laser TVs
TCL released short videos disparaging Hisense laser TVs; Hisense sued for commercial defamation and won, with TCL ordered to pay 2 million yuan and publicly apologize. Previously, Hisense TVs were also summoned by the Jiangsu Consumers Council over startup advertisements that could not be closed. Won the lawsuit; rectified startup advertisements.
