Hawaiian Council completes acquisition of Sea Life Park Hawaii
The Hawaiian Council completed its acquisition of Sea Life Park Hawaii from Herschend Family Entertainment on August 11, bringing the Waimanalo attraction under Native Hawaiian stewardship. Financial terms were not disclosed. The park will continue daily operations without interruption, and the new owner plans a long-term strategy focused on Native Hawaiian culture, marine science and education.

Herschend acquisition of Vancouver Aquarium
Ocean Wise Conservation Association announced an agreement to transfer ownership of the Vancouver Aquarium to Herschend Enterprises, which would take 100% ownership of the attraction.
