Foreign Corrupt Practices Act settlement
The SEC alleged that Gartner had a corrupt relationship with a South African company connected to the government from approximately December 2014 through August 2015, in circumstances Gartner allegedly knew could result in official bribery. Gartner agreed to pay $2,456,764 and the SEC ordered it to cease violating the FCPA. The regulator also noted Gartner’s openness and cooperation.
