Lodsys in-app-purchase patent litigation
Lodsys filed a patent-infringement lawsuit against Gameloft and other mobile developers concerning in-app-purchase technology. Apple had separately asserted that it had licensed relevant technology for App Store use. Lodsys later withdrew the action against Gameloft after adverse developments in related litigation.
