Greek Fruitopia trademark dispute
Eugene Trivizas challenged Coca-Cola's attempt to register Fruitopia for soft drinks, asserting prior use of the name for his television serial and comic-strip books. A Greek court ruled in his favor, and an appellate court confirmed the result in 1999.
