Backlash over event-recording rights
A revision to Eventbrite's merchants agreement appeared to give the company broad permission to attend and record events for any purpose, while placing responsibility for third-party permissions on organizers. Following public criticism, Eventbrite removed the disputed language and said the wording was broader than intended.
