Livent accounting irregularities and bankruptcy
After Michael Ovitz became chief executive of Livent, what were described as serious accounting irregularities were identified. Garth Drabinsky and Myron Gottlieb were suspended, and Livent entered bankruptcy protection. The theatre was subsequently sold as part of the disposition of Livent's assets.
