Large-scale recall over fuel pump impeller defect
In May 2020, GAC Honda and Dongfeng Honda announced recalls of 396,149 and 378,625 vehicles respectively. The resin density of the fuel pump impeller was insufficient, which could cause swelling and deformation, and in extreme cases, engine stall while driving; the company replaced the improved fuel pumps free of charge.

A recall in China covered specified domestically produced Honda and Acura models manufactured from July 1 through December 31, 2018. Recall over engine oil level increase in UR-V
In 2018, Dongfeng Honda issued a recall for some UR-V vehicles due to increased engine oil level. Official recall documents recorded 1,453 related complaints as of July 22, and repair measures were formulated. The number of complaints is not equivalent to the number of accidents or casualties.
