SoftBank Group to acquire DigitalBridge for $4 billion
SoftBank Group has agreed to acquire DigitalBridge Group, Inc., a US alternative asset manager focused on digital infrastructure, at an enterprise value of approximately $4 billion, or $16 per share in cash. The deal, unanimously approved by DigitalBridge's board, is expected to close in the second half of 2026 subject to regulatory approvals, with DigitalBridge continuing to operate as an independent managed platform led by CEO Marc Ganzi.
