Marlon D. Green employment-discrimination case
Continental refused to hire African-American pilot and Air Force veteran Marlon D. Green. Litigation eventually led to a United States Supreme Court decision allowing a Colorado anti-discrimination law to apply to the dispute. Green joined Continental in 1965 and flew for the airline until 1978.
