Fire-safety incident on the Bepannah set
A fire broke out at the studio used for Bepannah. Reports cited in the reference material said that fire-safety equipment was not functioning and that a mandatory check relating to firefighting systems had not been submitted. Shooting was prohibited until safety arrangements were corrected, and a 20-year-old assistant died.
