    CIMC Shaanqi Accused of Chain Subcontracting and Quality Issues in Delivered Heavy Trucks

    Most of the 50 heavy trucks/semi-trailers CIMC Shaanqi delivered to customers had quality problems and models that did not match the contract, and the company was also reported to have used illegal chain subcontracting in production, leading to litigation; regulators ultimately ordered corrections and imposed an RMB 800,000 fine. In 2026 CIMC Vehicles (Jiangmen) also recalled 53 concrete mixer trucks. Brand quality reputation was damaged.
