Alleged industrial espionage involving Sekisui Chemical technology
Japanese authorities accused a 45-year-old researcher of disclosing Sekisui Chemical information concerning conductive particles used in touchscreen production to CCTC. The allegations involved alleged contact initiated through LinkedIn, travel to China, a proposed technology exchange, and the copying and transmission of company information. The researcher had reportedly been dismissed after an internal investigation.
