Changan Mazda filed a recall plan for 77,112 domestically produced second-generation CX-5 vehicles manufactured between August 8, 2017 and July 2, 2019. According to the company, a deformed impeller inside the fuel-pump core could cause the fuel pump to fail and the engine to stall. Changan Mazda stated that it would replace the fuel-pump cores free of charge as part of the recall.

决定自2019年11月22日起，召回2017年8月8日至2019年7月2日期间生产的国产第二代CX-5汽车，共计77112台。
本次召回范围内的车辆由于燃油泵芯内部泵轮发生变形，与周边零件干涉，导致燃油泵功能失效，无法给发动机正常供油。极端情况下可能出现车辆行驶中发动机熄火，存在安全隐患。
