    Estate manager Jacques Hebrard objected strongly to Robert Parker’s initial evaluation of the 1981 barrel sample. Parker described being attacked by Hebrard’s dog while at the estate; Hebrard disputed the account of whether Parker was bleeding. Parker subsequently retasted the wine and published a revised evaluation in a later issue of The Wine Advocate.
