A Thomasville commercial construction company has filed a lawsuit against a former manager, alleging he used company credit cards, bank accounts and expense reimbursement procedures to misappropriate more than $1.37 million over a period of several years.
CCH Construction Inc. filed the complaint Sept. 29 in Thomas County Superior Court against Jason Harpe, alleging fraud, conversion, breach of fiduciary duty, unjust enrichment, breach of duty of loyalty and other claims.
The company is seeking more than $1.37 million in compensatory damages, punitive damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney’s fees and litigation expenses, an accounting of company money and property allegedly controlled by Harpe, court costs and other relief.
