    CFU envelope-payment corruption scandal

In May 2011, several Caribbean football representatives received envelopes containing US$40,000 during a CFU-related meeting. Leaked video showed president Jack Warner discussing the money with delegates and characterizing it as personal funds. FIFA investigated the conduct of more than 30 representatives. The consequences included Warner's resignation as CFU president, suspensions affecting vice-presidents and staff, and resignations within several national associations.
